AWI 2008 Annual Meeting –AWI (Associated Warehouses Inc.) will be conducting their 2008 annual meeting on April 3rd through April 5th in Monterey California. The meeting brings together the regional third-party logistics organizations who are part of the AWI network which operates over 500 facilities and more than 100 million square feet throughout North America.
This annual event enables attendees to share best practices, continue to solidify relationships among the network allowing them to offer collaborative solutions to current and prospective clients, and exposes the attendees to some of the thought leaders of the logistics and supply chain profession.
The 2008 event will feature sessions on how to become a strategic partner with your customer, win-win negotiation practices, and using "Lean" practices to become a world class provider of logistics and supply chain services.
New Member of AWI Advisory Board –
AWI (Associated Warehouses Inc.) is pleased to announce that Mark A. Andrews, Vice President Sales & Business Development at Bonded Logistics, Inc., in Charlotte, NC has joined the Advisory Board. The AWI advisory board is made up of executives from several of the companies who are part of the AWI logistic services network. This group provides leadership and insight on the strategic direction of the organization and service offerings.
